Carterton Community Fridge is open Monday mornings 10:30 to 11:30 at The Sanctuary (Methodist Church), Burford Road, Carterton; and is open to everyone. A community fridge is a simple solution to wasting less food. We receive donations of food from local supermarkets that would otherwise end up in landfill and redistribute these throughout the community.
What is on offer varies from week to week as it depends on what the supermarkets share with us, and we cannot guarantee stock levels; but usually there is a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs and dairy products.
Everything is completely free. Please come and help yourself.
